Course Description

This bundle offers eight, NYC Department of Buildings-Approved SST courses including 18 hours of prescribed (required) training that can be applied towards the requirements of upgrading a Worker Site Safety Training (SST) Card to a Supervisor SST Card.

NOTE: THIS LEARNING PATH DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 4-HOUR SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD USER training course which is required to complete the full compliment of courses. Those seeking a Supervisor SST Card are encouraged to take the in-person 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User course which would also qualify them for a Scaffold Card, required to use and work on scaffolds within New York’s Five Boroughs.

THESE ARE AWARENESS-LEVEL TRAINING COURSES ONLY and do not provide any other qualifications or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.

The course fee does not include the cost of issuing the identification card or site safety training card as applicable.

This course contains 8 SST courses necessary to upgrade from a Worker 30-Hour SST Card to a Supervisor SST Card (excluding the 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User/Refresher) including:

  • 1-Hour First Aid & CPR (SST-104)
  • 1-Hour Hoisting & Rigging (SST-106)
  • 1-Hour Asbestos & Lead Awareness (SST-201)
  • 1-Hour Flag Person (SST-208)
  • 2-Hour Site Safety Plans (SST-301)
  • 2-Hour Pre Task Safety Meetings (SST-303)
  • 2-Hour Tool Box Talks (SST-304)
  • 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher/Chapter 33 Review (SAF-202)

Technical Requirements

It is recommended that students complete the training on a desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome as the browser.

Our Online Safety Training Courses were initially designed to be accessed on desktop computers. While it is not prohibited to use a mobile device, please note that the student experience may be less than optimal.

100% attendance in the course and active participation in all learning activities including a required multiple-choice quiz to be eligible to receive a course completion certificate.
