The OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, also known as HazCom, HCS, 29 CFR 1910.1200, is a U.S. regulation that governs the evaluation and communication of hazards associated with chemicals in the workplace. In order to ensure chemical safety in the workplace, information about the identities and hazards of the chemicals must be available and understandable to workers. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires the development and dissemination of such information:

• Chemical manufacturers and importers are required to evaluate the hazards of the chemicals they produce or import, and prepare labels and safety data sheets to convey the hazard information to their downstream customers;
• All employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplaces must have labels and safety data sheets for their exposed workers, and train them to handle the chemicals appropriately.

This course is designed to provide training and information about Federal OSHA’s Hazard Communication standard to affected employees, their managers, and interested individuals.

Online training courses cannot cover the site-specific information and training required by OSHA. Therefore, employers must supplement this course with training/information on site-specific procedures, chemicals hazards, PPE, and other protective measures as necessary to comply with OSHA regulation

During this course we will discuss how employers can protect employees affected by acts of violence and how those employees can protect themselves.

This program’s goal is to introduce learners to the proper use of a variety of different masks and face coverings to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Students will learn about a variety of different masks and respirators, including the proper way to don (put on) and doff (take off) each one. Additionally, students will learn how to care for and even make their own masks to preserve PPE for medical and frontline workers.

The goal of this training is to increase awareness for workers, especially those in the construction industry, on best workplace practices to protect themselves from coronavirus (COVID-19) and the spread of other infectious diseases. The 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher/Chapter 33 Training course is a refresher to the 40-Hour Site Safety Manager Course, which is a comprehensive presentation of Chapter 33 and the Rules of the City of New York that pertains to public protection. During the training, students will review the hazards of working in the New York City construction environment and the specific methods and work practices that are necessary on an urban construction site.

This program’s goal is to raise awareness of the health and safety risks presented by fall hazards on construction sites and provide attendees with knowledge and practices they can use to apply proper controls to prevent and manage fall hazards.
