About Tom Ferrante
Tom Ferrante, TSCTA’s Training Director, is a licensed site safety manager and OSHA authorized outreach instructor who has spent more than 30 years in the construction industry; 22 of which have been exclusively dedicated to education and training.
Tom’s diverse experience in the construction industry includes regulatory compliance, remediation, exposure assessment, risk assessment, indoor air quality, permitting, development of hazardous chemical SOPs, auditing, and project management. This gave him valuable insight into what the training and education needs of the industry are and how to best fulfill them.
Prior to his tenure with TSCTA, Mr. Ferrante was the Director of Apprenticeship and Training for District Council No. 9 where he was responsible for the oversight of a myriad of technical training programs for the unions’ membership.
Over the last decade, under Tom’s leadership, TSCTA has trained thousands of individuals and has consistently expanded its repertoire of courses and amenities available at each of their training locations.
Tom is a motorcycle enthusiast, history buff and loves 1950’s music and attire.
