With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, Ana comes to TSCTA ready to help our students stay safe on the job. Ana has a well-rounded history handling and creating back office (HR) procedures as well as executing safety orientation for new hires; now as a safety instructor, her understanding of both practice and theory makes her a clear asset to the TSCTA team.
Ana Lavayen completed her OSHA Trainer’s certification in 2009 and has been training workers ever since. In her previous position, Ana was responsible for training new hires on OSHA Standards; now she provides 10-Hour OSHA Training, Forklift and Aerial Lift Training, in both English and Spanish.
When she’s not teaching students how to stay safe on the job, Ana spends her time promoting nutrition and the benefits of healthy eating. An avid baker, Ana has been commissioned to create cakes for special events including a friend’s wedding!
