  • Students will be able to recognize and assess the physical, behavioral, and performance cues related to drug and alcohol abuse on the job site
  • By the end of this training, students will be able to perform a Reasonable Suspicion Drug and Alcohol Screening as well as have an understanding of how workplace policies and procedures are affected by the legalization of recreational marijuana use in New York
  • Define Reasonable Suspicion and Role of the Supervisor in Identifying Potentially Impaired Employees

Prerequisites 

Students need to be able to verbally communicate with an instructor in the primary language of the training and will need to have access to an internet connection, a computer, or a tablet with access to a web camera, microphone, and download the WebEx app.

Audience 

Supervisors, Foremen, Superintendents, company-wide leadership, and other managerial stakeholders 

Students are required to complete 100% of the course and actively participate in all learning activities including review quizzes and class exercises. 

Students are not permitted to make up any class time. If a student cannot attend or has any extenuating circumstances preventing them from completing the course in its entirety, it is the student’s responsibility to contact Gallagher Bassett to attend another scheduled event. The student will not be eligible to receive a certificate of completion without completing this course in full.
