32HR Rigging/Foreman Suspended Scaffold

Description

The 32HR Rigging/Foreman Suspended Scaffold Training is a Department of Buildings approved course and is in compliance with Rigging Rule 9. This training is for any worker whose job function is that of a licensed rigger or company designated rigging foreman. Each participant must pass a written and practice examination in order to receive a rigging/foreman suspended scaffold user certificate. Training is available in English ONLY.

Topics Included:

This course covers topics such as Chapter 33 Building Codes, daily inspection of equipment, fall protection, personal fall arrest systems, supervising jobsites, recognizing and fixing hazards, calculating formula and calculations, and working on a suspended scaffold. Training also includes hands on demonstration showing students the proper usage of harness, and how to tie knots. It also examines, interprets, and applies regulations such as Administrative Code Title B Supchapter 2 Article 6 (when licensed rigger required, insurance requirements, required signage during rigging operations), Rigging Rules-Chapter 9, Subchapter 19 of Building Codes (Protection of public and property affected by construction operations).

All participants will be issued a full color, photo certificate of completion upon conclusion of the training. This certificate is valid for 4 years only. A refresher training course must be completed every four years to update the certificate for another four-year period.
