30HR OSHA Construction Safety & Health Program

Description

The 30HR OSHA Construction Safety and Health Training was developed by the US Department of Labor. It examines OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well construction safety and health principles. The training emphasizes those areas that are most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. This program is more applicable for the construction supervisor, with a more intensified focus on various occupational safety and health. The 30-HR OSHA Training is also required for individuals applying as a Site Safety Manager, Site Safety Coordinator, and/or Superintendent based on the applicant’s qualifications. Included with the course fee is the CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulation manual. Training is available in English, Spanish and Polish.

Topics Included:

This course covers OSHA-mandated topics such as OSHA policies, OSHA focus four hazards, managing health and safety, material handling, scaffold, health hazards in construction, crane/hoists, steel erection standards, fire protection, concrete and masonry, personal protection equipment and excavations.

Course Completion Material:

All participants will receive a certificate of completion from TSCTA and approximately 4-6 weeks after the training conclusion, a laminated 30-HR Construction Safety Outreach course card issued by OSHA.
