16 HR Disaster Site Worker Training

Description

The 16HR Disaster Site Worker training is intended specifically for workers who respond to disasters, either natural or man-made. The course is crucial for those who supply support services such as debris removal, utility and public works repair, demolition, heavy equipment operators, and other construction trades. Primarily targeted to the trades, this course helps participants distinguish between health and safety hazards found at a typical construction jobsite from those a disaster work site.

Topics Included:

This course covers topics such as inspecting jobsites, using doff air-purifying respirators, and disaster site worker safety and health. It also explains the difference between disaster sites and regular construction or demolition worksites.

Course Completion Material:

All participants will receive a certificate of completion from TSCTA and approximately 4-6 weeks after the training conclusion, a laminated 16HR Disaster Site Worker course card issued by OSHA.
