Confined Space Awareness Training

The Confined Space Awareness Seminar delivers essential knowledge to any individual who may work around confined spaces. Examples of confined spaced include storage tanks, boilers, sewers, excavations, manholes, tunnels, and open top spaces more than four feet in depth, such as pits, vaults, and vessels. The hazards that exist when entering and working in a confined space are capable of causing injury, illness and death. When working around a confined space it is necessary to be aware of the dangers that exist in and around the confined space area. By participating in TSC’s Confined Space Awareness seminar you will be helping to educate your employees in the safe practices when working around confined spaces. In addition, the Confined Space Awareness program can be used as an introduction to confined space entry practical training.

Topics Included:

This course includes topics such as general requirements of the OSHA standard, employer’s responsibility to individuals working in such spaces, confined space recognition, distinction between permit entry confined space and non-permit entry space, elements of a permit required confined space program, requirements for entry, atmospheric hazards, physical Hazards, personal protective equipment, and OSHA regulatory requirements.

• $135.00 per person for groups of 10+ (10% discount)

Course Completion Material:

Upon completion of training, all participants will receive a certificate of completion for Confined Space Awareness Training from TSCTA.
