Allied Trades Initial Training

Description

This program, accredited by the New York State Department of Health under approval from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, is 12 hours in length. The training is applicable for any individual (s) performing limited or special tasks in preparation of or ancillary to an asbestos abatement project or one engaged in a similar occupation. Those who complete an accredited New York State Health Department asbestos certification training program are eligible to apply to the New York State Department of Labor for an asbestos Allied Trades certificate, specific to the abatement activities they intend to conduct. To maintain the certification, an annual 4-hour refresher course is required.

Upon completion of Allied Trades Initial Training and passing of the exam, attendees will receive a completion certificate from TSCTA.
